4 Ways to Win Back Black Friday Shoppers | Pinterest for Business

Excitement for Black Friday and Cyber Monday shopping is high on Pinterest, where users have already saved 45% more Black Friday Pins and 47% more Cyber Monday Pins compared to last year. This is exciting news for retailers, since Pinners use the platform for more than just inspiration: they use it to shop too. Compared to people who don’t use Pinterest, Pinners spend 29% more on retail. For help capturing holiday shoppers on Pinterest, download Adaptly’s holiday season whitepaper.

Tweeting Made Easier | Twitter Blog

This week Twitter doubled its character limit to 280 in an effort to help people better express themselves on the platform. Under the 140 character limit, 9% of Tweets came up against the limit, forcing users to edit down their thoughts. During a trial of the new character limit, only 1% of Tweets hit the maximum at 280. In fact, only 5% of trial Tweets actually exceeded 140 characters, showing that the sense of brevity Twitter instilled in users is still part of the core behavior on the platform. Follow Adaptly on Twitter and show us how you’re making use of those newfound characters.
