Catch Adaptly’s #SMWNYC Sessions With Instagram, BuzzFeed, Etsy, and Chico’s

Reading Time: 1 Minute

It’s our favorite time of year again at Adaptly: Social Media Week. We are excited to be conference content partners and host two sessions in NYC. It is always a treat to come together with industry leaders and we can’t wait to see what else this year’s conference has to offer.

Our first session, “Keeping Up With Social Platform Perspectives,” will be on Tuesday, February 28 at 12:30pm at TimesCenter: Stage Two. Adaptly’s VP of Strategic Accounts Ruth Arber will sit down with Samantha Druss, Senior Digital Marketing Specialist at Etsy, and Nicole Colaco, Social Marketing Manager at Chico’s FAS, to discuss how user behavior differs on the major platforms–Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, Pinterest, and Twitter. Platform users expect premium content, so brands must have a nuanced cross-channel strategy to strike the right note on each platform. Speakers will review how users consume content differently by channel–speed, sound-on versus sound-off, etc.–and the approach advertisers should take when campaign planning.

Our second session, “The Evolution of Social Video,” will be on Wednesday, March 1 at 9:30am at TimesCenter: Stage One. Adaptly Co-Founder and CEO Nikhil Sethi will lead the session with Jeff Taylor, Regional Product Marketing Manager at Instagram, and Ken Blom, Director of Branded Content Distribution at BuzzFeed. Video on social has evolved tremendously over the past decade, and so should the way advertisers think about it. With video formats and best practices constantly changing and each social platform tracking video metrics differently, it can be difficult for brands to achieve a truly successful, cross-channel social video advertising strategy. Join us to learn the best use cases of newer formats like Instagram Stories, livestreaming, and vertical video, and to gain insight into tracking video performance across platforms.

Follow along with us during the sessions through the hashtag #SMWAdaptly and be sure to share any thoughts or questions. We hope to see you there!
