Adaptly is a creative and flexible place to work. We’re much more than a bunch of recent college graduates. We have a young, “hodge-podge” team, ranging from the best data scientists from MIT and CalTech to high school drop outs. Whatever our background, we learn quickly, focus on innovation and aren’t afraid to push boundaries (and sometimes, buttons). Every morning at 11 a.m., we all chant our office motto “Stay Hungry” and pay homage to our life-size statue of Steve Jobs. No, we don’t really. Because that would be weird. But you get our drift.

Data Scientists
We are looking for bright minds, eager to apply cutting edge research in data analysis. We want people who think the “Indian Buffet Process” is more than just something you’d see on a visit to the restaurant down the street. You should be excited to tackle questions at the forefront of data analysis.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Strong machine learning experience
- Know MCMC methods and Naive Bayes classifiers like the back of your hand
- PhD in CS/Math/Statistics or equivalent experience a plus

Account Managers
We’re looking for driven account managers who are reliable, learn quickly, and pay close attention to detail. You must be organized and be able to keep track of numerous appointments and deadlines. In addition to managing ad campaigns, our account managers have a pleasant service-oriented attitude that is evident in written and spoken tone when interfacing with clients. Furthermore, account managers use our application on a daily basis, so we want someone who will be excited by the technology we’re developing and who will take an active roll in coming up with ways to improve the user experience.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Previously held client-facing position at an advertising agency
- Interested in social media and/or digital advertising
- Proficient with Excel
- Self-sufficient yet works well with others

Business Development Managers
We’re looking for strategic, consultative sales people able to clearly outline the benefits of both social advertising and the Adaptly technology suite. This is a consultative role, helping clients shape their social media strategies through the efficient deployment of marketing budgets and insight. The primary role of the Adaptly Business Development Manager is to uncover opportunities within both prospects and existing clients and see these opportunities through to fruition (and ultimately success for the client). The ideal candidate will develop and manage strong relationships with client and prospect decision-makers. Furthermore this role requires a deep level of collaboration with internal Engineering and Account Management teams to help ensure our technology and service remains the market leader.
Responsibilities:
- Build a prospect list (agencies, advertisers) and identify opportunities within key clients
- Develop strong knowledge of Adaptly’s technology suite and help shape our value proposition and sales
- Close deals and work towards an overall revenue target
Requirements:
- University degree or equivalent with a strong academic record preferred
- Strong online sales and business-development experience
- Experience in either technology or network sales with strong connections to senior media planners and buyers
- Outstanding written and oral communication skills
Account Managers

- Experience of managing campaigns on technology platforms
- Consultative, “can do” attitude
Responsibilities:
- Be the day-to-day point of contact for the successful set up and implementation of all social media advertising campaigns
- Demonstrate and communicate an understanding of Adaptly’s technology and its role in improving campaign performance over time
- Set up and attend weekly meetings with key clients, and work with the broader commercial team to identify and close new opportunities
- Work with the broader commercial team to build account strategy and growth plans
- Set-up regular (monthly/bi-monthly) meetings with key clients to communicate overall plans and actionable next steps
