Don’t Miss Adaptly’s #AWEurope Session with Discovery’s TLC and the7stars

One of the primary UK industry events, AdWeek Europe, is literally around the corner. At Adaptly, we are busy preparing the last bits and pieces for a session we’ll be hosting but are also full of excitement about what other engaging content this year’s conference has to offer.

Our session, “Keeping Up with Social Platform Perspectives”, is scheduled to take place on the Workshop Stage on Monday 20 March at 2.30PM. Our VP of Strategic Accounts, Ruth Arber, will be joined by Kirsty Sloan, Digital and Social Producer at Discovery’s TLC, and Adele Burns, Entertainment Director at media agency, the7stars. Together, they will be discussing the value consumers derive from the major social platforms and the approach advertisers should take towards multi-platform campaign planning.

Audiences are becoming more and more fragmented every day. Though there are 38 million active social media users in the UK, they exhibit markedly different behaviour on each of the major platforms – Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, Pinterest, and Twitter. Advertisers risk missing the opportunity to reach audiences at scale if they don’t have a smart social media strategy that integrates multiple platforms and native ad formats. Given consumers’ high expectations, the onus is on brands to customise their cross-channel marketing to appeal to the right audience at the right time.
